Nuevas versiones del Theme SimplyCool.
Versión: SimplyCool v 1.3
Cambios:
- Soporte para comentarios desde WordPress 2.2 +.
- Nuevo sidebar con más efectos e información.
- Nuevo menú con dropdown para las páginas.
- Totalmente traducido al Español. Idioma por defecto Ingles, si tienes WordPress en Español automáticamente se mostrara en Español

Y bueno, aquí dejo a mi bebé. ¿Por qué lo he liberado? Pues simplemente porque ya no lo voy a usar yo, y mi trabajo me costó, no tiene caso desperdiciarlo. Además, quiza a alguien le guste lo suficiente como para considerarlo para usarlo en su propio blog (lo cual me halagaría muchísimo). El theme es un diseño simple con toques en violetas y preparado para correr en Worpdress 2.8. Necesita de algunos plugins para verse en todo su esplendor, pero no da errores si se usa sin ellos, aunque recomiendo usarlos… Se ve MUCHO mejor cuando el blog tiene mucho contenido, con lo que si piensas que es muy simple, deja que se llene de información y veras como mejora.

SimplyCool Theme para WordPress versión 1.0
Características
- Totalmente compatible con WordPress 2.8, comentarios anidados con link de respuesta activo.
- Utiliza un poco de jQuery para hacer el theme más dinámico, lo puedes ver en el menú, en el sidebar con enlaces y categorías
- Bonito efecto lightbox (Fancebox) para las imágenes, solo debes poner “lightbox” en el “rel=” del enlace a la imágen.
- Liberado bajo la licencia Creative Commons. Es decir, eres libre de usarlo, modificarlo y distribuirlo, pero por favor, cita al autor…!!!
- Utiliza la fuente Kool Beans, con copyright de 2001 Adam Nerland, Insanitype! Font Design.
- El theme es XHTML Strict y CSS válido; siempre y cuando los plugins estén instalados y el código que utilices dentro de tus posts también lo sean.
- Para poder brindar todo el aspecto gráfico del theme, NECESITA (aunque funciona sin ellos) los plugins FlickRSS,
Simply Tags, Get Recent Comments, Paginator y WP-Post Views. Puedes descargar los plugins de esos links o directamente subir los que dejo en descarga (con esto te aseguras que la versión del plugin funcionara correctamente y te recomiendo que uses los que yo dejo en la descarga).
¿Cómo instalar el theme?
La instalación del theme es muy sencilla, solo subir la carpeta simplycool a la carpeta de themes de tu instalación de wordpress, subir los plugins a la carpeta wp-content/plugins y activarlos en tu panel de control.
Después de eso entra en las opciones de:
- FlickRSS: selecciona 4 imágenes, pon tu ID de Flickr y guarda las opciones.
- Post Views: selecciona Everyone y guarda las opciones.
- Paginator: Pon el número de páginas que quieres que aparezcan para seleccionar, 10 es número bueno.
También encontraras un archivo .psd para que puedas personalizar el logo. Necesitas la fuente Kool Beans.
Con eso ya te debería funcionar perfectamente y con todo configurado.

Well, here I leave my baby. Why I released? Well simply because I will not use it anymore, and cost me my job, I don’t wanna waste it. Besides, maybe you like it enough to be considered for use in your own blog (which I’d be so glad). The theme is a simple design with touches of violet and ready to run on Worpdress 2.8. Some plugins are needed, but no errors if you use it without them, although I recommend using them … looks much better when the blog has very content, so if you are thinking it’s very simple, let it be filled and see as improvement.

How to install theme?
Installing the theme is very simple, just upload the folder “simplycool” into themes folder of your installation of wordpress, upload the plugins into wp-content/plugins and activate them in your control panel.
After that go into the options:

No me habia fijado en que habias liberado tu anterior theme (ya que por el verano casi no use internet).
Igual te lo utilizo ya que fijo que esta mejor optimizado que el mio…si me das permiso claro!
@rogeliorabbit: ¿Permiso?, jeje… esta para eso, para usarlo. Además tu no necesitas mi permiso… ;).
Por otro lado, si te decides, cuenta con mi soporte por supuesto. Te lo digo porque para poder subirlo a WordPress.org Themes, tuve que hacer unos cambios al diseño original (exigen un monton de cosas). Pero vamos, mantengo el diseño original también – por si lo quisieras -. Son cuatro cosas, el menu y poco más. Por cierto, funciona “casi” sin plugins, con lo que la carga del blog se minimiza…
@Rab Ross: te copiare algunas cosas (seguire utilizando el theme que tengo) ya que tu las tienes mejor ordenadas y todo muy bien optimizado y con las ideas que tengo pensado poner despues de navidades (o durante ellas), jquery, dos styles distintos… necesito ordenado lo mejor posible, y me di cuenta, vueno, un visitante se dio cuenta, de que hay algun fallo en los comentarios, ya que salen mal ordenados y desaparecio la paginacion…un desastre valla. Fijo que borre algo sin darme cuenta y como lo tengo todo desordenado no lo encuentro.jaja.
Tan dificil es subirlo a wordpress.org?te exigen tanto?
